The food was perfect, the portions large enough and for a good price. The beer is also excellentService was quick and professional, payment with card is accepted. The Euro exchange rate was the best we've got in Czech republic so far (most restaurants and hotels give you a bad exchange rate, not here!).Overall, a real highlight, and if we come back to town we'll certainly revisit

I ate here twice already, and food-wise, it was perfect both times. You can get traditional Czech food of best quality here but also try their BBQ stuff, they know a lot about it. The service sometimes lacks though, but that depends on the waiter/waitress.

Food was great, but I know better places to eat and drink in Czech Budweis. This one is little bit overrated and that's why it is full and expensive.

Nice old beerhall with friendly interior. Beer and buillon with liver dumpling were good. Friendly service. Toilets on ground level, wheelchair friendly.

The Duck was so incredible soft and jucy and tasty !!! The Red Carbagge and the Dumplings were at its best !!! Thank you so much !!! Best Bohamian Food !!! Don't miss it when you are in Budweis !!!! Let's get a great Beer !!!

I would recommend everyone stay away from this restaurant that used to be top of what could you find in České Budějovice. All of the restaurant staff should be fired as they were rude, bored, and do not deserve to work in a restaurant with such a history.I have never experienced a waitress that is asking the guests to clean their table while still sitting 45 minutes before the restaurant close. And after we passed her glasses she hit the table so we knew that we are not wanted anymore. Best of luck in finding guests with this approach.

A must whenever visiting České Budějovice. Delicious local Bohemian cuisine. Have their baked duck with dumplings and red cabbage or brewery beef goulash and you'll see. But the highlight I do admire the most is the 12° Budweis Lager Kroužek" from a tank. Really worth to come back

Very good beer. I really liked that.Indeed friendly staff.Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the pork ribs. I could hardly find a meat. So, if you like fat and oily food with no meat, it will be just for you. I didn't enjoy that. As you can see on the pictures; original portion is almost equal to the finished one. This restaurant used to be very good and I believe that it will be next time again for me.

Restaurant is located in city centre. Nice and friendly service. Food was nice but not brilliant, garlic soup and fried cheese was nice but Svickova was way too sweet.
