It is frozen in time a little and that shows, but the service is fast and coffee is better than what you can expect from the outside. The pancakes were obviously heated and the whipped cream came from a mass-produced spray but the whole thing tasted just like it would in a typical average local household. That, plus a nice shaded seating outside with fisherman dropping in for a beer from the bank of the pond right across the street makes the place a nostalgic unpretentious local inn which is cool for what it is. And it can be a nice way to kill time waiting for a bus as the stop is right next to the door.
