Luxury Spa hotel OLYMPIC PALACE

Wonderful hotel in Karlovy Vary, highly recommend it. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel has great spa facilities with 3 saunas, jacuzzi, and pool. We ordered massages each day and they were great. Cleanness in the hotel is flawless. We stayed with half board basis, the breakfast was great with large variety, but unfortunately dinner wasn’t the best.Very comfortable valet parking service (for 15 EUR per day).

Overall our stay was nice. The hotel is located just a couple minute walk from the springs and the main promenade. The building is gorgeous - outside and inside, everything is so taken care of and clean. Spa is not very big but nice - with pool, jacuzzi and three saunas. A huge variety of beauty and medical treatments. The staff is nice and friendly (except for one lady at the reception). Not all of them speak English, but almost all speak Russian and some speak German. The room was pretty disappointing and dark, on the 5th floor with a tiny skylight window, which you can open only a little. Given the fact that the AC doesn’t work in winter, the temperature in the room was uncomfortably warm. The gym is a tiny room with 5 different fitness machines which look pretty old.

Perhaps most people visit Karlovy Vary to stay at Grandhotel Pupp…We decided to stay at Olympic Palace as it was more affordable and rooms looked newer…I was so pleased by the high touch service by front desk from the moment we entered. Champagne and treats to start followed by a quick personalized tour of the hotel. We were given a lovely balcony and beautiful front facing view. I couldn’t help but squeal from excitement. We went out for an evening walk and returned to chocolates on our bed…so cute. Everywhere is extremely clean. Although the hotel appears classic it is modern in the right places. My bf and I enjoyed the spa, the pool, the sauna and even took a nice romantic bath in our room together. My bf generally doesn’t trust bathing in hotels but this bathroom was just that clean! I couldn’t help but compare, but I think if we stayed at the Pupp we might not have gotten such personalized care…Our stay felt very intimate and well cared for in the little details. :)I will say the wifi could be better. It went in and out. Also, we did the treat yourself spa package - I don’t recommend the salt bath as it felt like a regular bath…Just go for the massages!!!

The hotel is fine, you can definitely book with peace of mind. Maybe it is not a luxury hotel in the traditional sense, but it has a strong four, maybe four and a half stars. The spa and pool are quite small and quite often crowded, toiletries, linens, beds are correct, but not 5-star, breakfasts are very OK. If you accept all this, accept the price, accept that the hotel is located on a hill so to the city a short but steep walk, you will be satisfied. The staff is very courteous.

Beautiful hotel! Our stay here was amazing. From the moment we drove up to the hotel and all the way to the moment we drove off we had an amazing time. We were greeted very kindly and our suitcases were carried up for us. Upon arrival we were given a welcoming snack and drink and a host gave us a recap of the hotel. The meeting with the doctor was good and all the sweet staff that helped with procedures were kind and smiley. The food was also good, our favorite was breakfast. There were so many choices of delicious food. We are very happy we chose this hotel and would love to come back again some time. Had a great time staying here for the last day of the international film festival.We tried one of the spa packages, each was satisfying and decently priced.The room was a bit pricy but the service was more than enough to make up for it. We had a great time.The facilities are very modern and clean. Lots of attention to detail in this hotel.Valet parking, 15€ per night.

Jitka is very accommodating. Provided a very warm welcoming as well as arranging transportation for us when we left. I have been in a lot of great hotels but this was the cleanest hotel I have ever been in. Waitstaff in restaurant we’re friendly and efficient. Pool was great to swim in. Sauna and steam bath very comfortable. Great neighborhood to take a walk.

We have stayed in this hotel in March of 2023, and WOW! This hotel can certainly be ranked as top 3 in Karlovy Vary. There are five floors and there’s a huge range of rooms. We booked two rooms and requested for them to be together. We’ve received what we asked for. The entrance to the spa area (pools, saunas, jacuzzi) is free and the amenities are just awesome. They provide you with fresh towels and refreshing water. The rooms are spacious and the room that we’ve stayed in had a picturesque view overlooking the city centre. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the staff that work really hard to maintain this 5-star hotel. Would definitely visit again! Recommended! ✅
