Really nice service and lovely staff. We came and they apologised because we waited for the rice. They gave us a lot of free starters and the portions were huge.

The food was splendid and really took me back to my travels through Indonesia. I was impressed by the authenticity, as well as the nice presentation and decent portion size. The beef rendang was incredible and you could really taste the coconut in the sauce. The meat itself was well cooked, perfectly tender, without too much chewiness or directly falling apart. The nasi goreng was as comforting and well made as the ones I had in the warungs of Bali.Last but not least, I have to compliment the friendly staff, who were kind, attentive and helpful.

Complete, spicy and tasty. The nasi campur brought me back to Bali. A bit simple decor but staff are friendly, food taste good and prices are alright.

Located in Prague 2 near Náměstí Míru, this newly opened Indonesian restaurant was great to say the least. This was my second time eating from the hands of Radek, the owner, who brings together flavors that I ate growing up like lemongrass chicken and the coconut-y Rendang (Indonesian beef stew). The krupuk (chips) that is served with every meal is a nice touch too, as I usually have to fry my own if I want something that tastes like home. For background, I was born in New York and my father is from Singapore, with a lot of our family recipes taking inspiration from the SE Asian countries. I ate Rendang growing up.For the food, it tastes even better than it looks, and the presentation is amazing. The fresh ingredients definitely come out in the food and take center stage on your palate, with a very balanced eating experience overall. While I was eating there on Aug. 16th, 2022, I leaned over to the table next to me after they had finished their meal and asked if they had enjoyed it. The older couple were unfamiliar to Indonesian flavors BUT thoroughly enjoyed the meal, stating that the exoticness was enjoyable and a good experiment. They also quoted that they would return to the restaurant to eat again even though that the staff did not speak Czech. What I asked if this would be a future problem for other Czech locals, they come we replied saying that the menu is very descriptive even in Czech.Prices overall are standard and hover in between 180-300czk per person, and is well worth the large serving size.Pros / Cons:Pros:Amazing, authentic tasting food with a very homey feel, served in large portions with homemade sauces and fresh ingredients. The sambal (spicy red sauce for those curious) and hospitality of the owner is also very appreciated. Additionally, the menu is in English and Czech.Cons:For those unfamiliar to Indonesian flavors, a piece of grated coconut could be mistaken for a hair in the food, but this was not my case. In addition, a longer than normal waiting period for the only server in the restaurant to clean or service a table (bring water, bring utensils, or check in for paying for the bill) could be off putting.Overall rating: 9.5/10

New Indonesian restaurant in Prague. Classic rendang with 2 spicy sauces separated so you can choose how much spicy you want your beef, the green is at the limit of European taste, the red is out of mind spicy, just for who wants the real experience. Took also a fried fish with peanut sauce, new taste, very sweet, almost overwhelming but interesting. Not fancy as other Indonesian restaurants in Prague but food seem authentic to me.
