So far the best sushi I ever had outside Japan. Thinking about going back to Prague only for this dining experience. Amazing!

Authentic Japanese food ran by lovely Japanese couple. Food was great and service is always friendly in English Japanese or Czech.

I would give 0 star if I could. I know a lot of people say this but yes. This is a scam restaurant. I asked for omakase menu, which the restaurant does not have in the menu but said they can do it for me. So they kept bringing me individual dish and charging me ala carte for whatever that they decided to serve me. They could also serve me 24k gold and I’d have to pay it. This is not omakase, this is exploitation and a scam. Not to mention the speed!! They were so quick to bring in new plates. SCAM SCAM SCAM. The sushi chefs are white!! Not authentic at all and I hated all the sushis. All the nigiris were with some flavour enhancers that completely ruined the fish!! AVOID LIKE A PLAGUE!! AVOID AVOID AVOID! Go to Katsura instead. Trust me! Also a bottle of tap water for 190 Kc.

It was a nice Japanese Dinner experience, I believe it is 100% Japanese food experience. I really recommend.

don’t bother with rolled sushi there, it’s average and not their specialty. stick to the fresh sashimi and the wagyu is truly the star of the restaurant. great service and presentation.

I cannot say I expected to have great sushi in Prague, but here I am.First, I would like to call out that just because the sushi chef was not Japanese, it does not signify that their food is inauthentic or worse off. We had very enjoyable sushi as well as dishes like, Tsukemono and pork belly.For the sushi, the amaebi was well executed, with both the nigiri and the fried head. Their sea bass sushi had a wonderful combination of flavors as both a maki and nigiri. The pickled ginger was only ok, but other pickles were fantastic! I would also like to point out their use of authentic wasabi, which is a further sign of their quality.For the pork belly, there was a spicy mustard sauce that added an enjoyable intensity to the savory and rich broth the meat was served in. Everything about the dish, the meat, the eggplant, the peas, were cooked to an optimal tenderness. A small room for improvement would be the rice, where they used a wonderful short grain rice with furikake, but the rice was a bit overdone, a bit too soggy and soft, causing the rice to lose some of the expected texture.Last of all, their service was fantastic. Their team was well coordinated, and every person added to the experience with pleasant interactions and genuine kindness. I would recommend this to anyone who supports a restaurant owner who cares. They have chosen and work with wonderful people who are running a wonderful business.

Great food and service! We ordered plenty of food and everything was tasty. English speaking staff. However tables are not very comfortable but this kind of restaurant is not for long sitting. Just it and go. !Green tea ice-cream is highly recommended!

My first visit of what many call the best Japanese restaurant of Prague was filled with high expectations. The place is elegantly and minimalistically designed. The waiters are very attentive, at times maybe too much, when they refill your bottle every few minutes, so it can become a little awkward during a business meeting.The sashimi was quite nice, unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the lunch menu, which was just bad from start to finish. Soggy tempura, overcooked rice, chewy and tasteless meat, all topped with the dessert: tofu with strawberry jam, which sadly tastes exactly as you would expect. A complimentary japanese tea is included in the menu, unfortunately, when you see the waiter pouring it from a plastic bottle, it kind of cheapens the whole experience.If nothing else, the quality of the fish definitely ranks among the best in the capital. So if you visit, I would recommend you to try their sushi, which is what I will do the next time.

Authentic Japanese experience! Loved it from the first bite to the very last. The fish was so good it literally melted in my mouth, wow!!

5 stars. One of my top 3 Japanese resturant I have been in europe. What stands out the most is the quality / thick cut of the sushi, it ranks in with what you have in Japan if not better not avg. in Japan. Service is very attentive. Highly reccomend if you are looking for quality sushi.
